So Halloween is out of the way and it’s time to go back to a normal structure, so before playing Dishonored 2 (which I haven’t played before), I decided to familiarise myself with the world of this franchise by playing the first game, which I played back when it first came out. My plan was to play 3 levels of the game each stream (as the game is split over 9 levels), but that plan went out the window immediately in the first stream.
In this stream I’ve finished the main plot of Dishonored and I am now tackling the DLC scenarios where you play as the assassin Daud, who crossed paths with Corvo on a couple of occasions. This stream covers the plot of The Brigmore Witches, the first of the 2 DLC scenarios, and takes place alongside the main game.
Until next time…buh-bye!
About Dishonored
Dishonored is a first person action game developed by Arkane Studios and published in 2012 by Bethesda Softworks on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Windows systems, though for this stream I am playing the PlayStation 4 re-release. The game is set in a Victorian-esque setting in the fictional city of Dunwall where players control the assassin Corvo, personal bodyguard to the nation’s Empress during a rat plague that is getting more and more out of control. Following being falsely accused of murdering the Empress, the game truly starts 6 months later after he is aided in escaping from prison to take revenge. To do this, players can use Corvo’s natural skills as an assassin, as well as a set of magical powers gifted to him from the mysterious Outsider.
