Welcome to the fourth part of my playthrough of Death Stranding, where I get to grips with the mental insanity that is the genius of Hideo Kojima. Watch me as I get to grips with a game where I make deliveries across some beautiful vistas with some incredible music selections, hide from rain that ages you, and have to escape the onslaught of creatures that are people from beyond the grave…ish. All while getting to enjoy every day bodily functions and naked Norman Reedus.
Until next time…buh-bye!
About Death Stranding
Death Stranding is an open-world action game developed by Kojima Productions and first released by Sony Interactive Entertainment in 2019. In this game, by legendary director Hideo Kojima, creator of the Metal Gear Solid franchise, players take control of Sam Porter Bridges, a man who travels the eastern ranges of what was once America making deliveries following the Death Stranding, an event in which the worlds of the living and dead intersected and changed the status quo of the world. In Death Stranding, players take on orders and must balance out cargo allowances, whilst travelling across a harsh terrain, terrorist camps, degenerative rain, and attacks from Beached Things, the dead that target the living. All this while trying to get Sam to trek across America, connecting the Chiral Network, a new internet to bring humanity together into a new future of hope, all with an in vitro foetus attached to your chest.
