Hey there everyone, and welcome to the final part of my God of War (2018) playthrough! Fun fact, I never played a God of War game until 2021, when I decided I was interested in playing this particular title, and even though it acts as a reboot I have this weird unhealthy need to experience everything in a franchise, so when I had to shield due to regulations of the pandemic again in February of that year, I took advantage of every single title being available on PlayStation Now to run through all of them over a period of a couple of weeks. And then of course me being me I didn’t start this game until 18 months later! Welcome to how my brain works.
So come join me as I go on my adventure as Kratos, he who took the mantle of God of War in the world of the ancient Greek gods as an older man in a Norse setting as he sets out on a journey with his son Atreus to scatter the ashes of his recently deceased wife from the highest peaks in the world.
I ended up enjoying this game so much that other than temporarily playing different games for Halloween, this became the game in my rotation that I just stuck to until the end. God of War has come a long way from how it started.
Until next time…buh-bye!
