Hey there everyone, it’s Halloween 2019 and I am doing a 5-night special of horror themed gaming, and I started with Red Barrel’s Outlast II, then I played Tarsier Studio’s Little Nightmares, which I’ve enjoyed so much I’ll be playing it’s DLC scenario Secrets of the Maw on PlayStation 4. This is my first time playing the game, so expect some on the spot reactions to what is sure to be a creepy, yet whimsical adventure involving a kid on a boat where everything is out to get him.
This is the fourth night of my Halloween 2019 celebrations and I return to the world of Little Nightmares to play the DLC campaign Secrets of the Maw. In Secrets of the Maw, you play as the Runaway Kid, a boy who’s journey actually takes place alongside that of Six in the main game. The Runaway Kid’s experiences help to give more depth to what we experienced in the main game, including an ending which surprisingly really got to me…
Until next time…buh-bye!
About Little Nightmares
Little Nightmares is a horror puzzle platformer developed by Tarsier Studios and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment and originally released in 2017 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Players control a hungry young girl, Six, who must make her way across a ship known as the Maw, which is under the control of strange otherworldly figures with the Lady as their leader. Other than the little pyramid-headed Nomes, everything on the Maw is out to get Six on her quest for food and search for the Lady.
