Kingdom Hearts III is a 2019 Japanese Action-RPG video game developed by Square Enix in conjunction with Disney and released on both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Despite it’s title, Kingdom Hearts III is actually the ninth title in the franchise, and serves as the conclusion of the “Dark Seeker saga” that begin with the first game’s release in 2002, capping off 17 years of story.
In Kingdom Hearts III you play as Sora, a boy from the world of Destiny Islands as he embarks on his final confrontation with the villainous Master Xehanort, an evil Keyblade Master who seeks to use Kingdom Hearts to bring darkness to all of the worlds. Sora’s journey takes him across worlds inspired by Disney movies both old and new, and he is joined by his friends and familiar faces from the great pantheon of beloved Disney characters.
