Due to the fun of filming in a house where I’m not the only person roaming around, there’s a really awkward break partway through this, which caused me to have to do some dodgy editing to get rid of that time, and that’s why this stream also ends up being over 9 hours long. Hey there everyone, and welcome to the second part of my Final Fantasy VII Remake playthrough, a game I have been much excited to finally get my hands on. This is my first time playing this game, and I also think it’s the first time I’ve played a game on release on my channel, so there’s that! Hope you enjoy me getting to grips with this new take on an old classic game I love.
In this second stream I pick straight back up where I was at the end of my first stream, back at Chapter 3 with Tifa trying to help us make a name for ourselves amongst the citizens of the Sector 7 Slums. And then I do a lot, I go above the plate to Jessie’s parents house, I ride a motorbike, raid a Shinra factory, fight some weird ghost things, dive off a train with Barret and Tifa, work my way through the plate to Mako Reactor 5 whilst also turning off the artificial suns lighting Sector 4 Slums, end up separated from the team and meet back up with local flower seller Aerith Gainsborough, inadvertently become her bodyguard, and make my way towards her home in the Sector 5 Slums where I then start to make a name for myself as a mercenary there. Phew! That’s a lot…but then it was a 9 hour stream so these things balance out I suppose…

About Final Fantasy VII Remake
Final Fantasy VII Remake is a 2020 game by Square Enix released initially as a timed exclusive for the PlayStation 4 and is a remake of the original game released in 1997. The game is a third person action RPG in which players take control of Cloud Strife – an ex member of Shinra’s elite army Soldier – now working as a mercenary for hire who is helping eco-terrorist group Avalanche to take down Shinra’s planet killing Mako reactors. As the first part of a series of games remaking the original, this title is set entirely in the Shinra-run city of Midgar, where Cloud will be able to explore, take on missions, battle enemies, and get to know himself once again by working alongside his childhood friend, Tifa.
