Hey there everyone, and welcome to the eighth part of my Final Fantasy VII Remake playthrough, a game I have been much excited to finally get my hands on. This is my first time playing this game, and I also think it’s the first time I’ve played a game on release on my channel, so there’s that! Hope you enjoy me getting to grips with this new take on an old classic game I love.
This stream is pretty much the opposite of my previous stream, in that rather than it being a major sidequest stream, this stream is all about the story! It’s time to take the fight to Shinra, and we are ready to ascend the ruins of Sectors 6 and 7 in order to reach the top of the plate and then Cloud stands before Shinra HQ, and the assault to rescue Aerith begins. Sneaking into the tower we have a brief section in control of Tifa showing off her upper body strength, I then choose to climb to the top of the tower using the stairs (best. decision. ever!), meet the mayor of Midgar, and end my time at end of Chapter 16, after spying on a board meeting of those pulling the strings over the city.

Final Fantasy VII Remake is a 2020 game by Square Enix released initially as a timed exclusive for the PlayStation 4 and is a remake of the original game released in 1997. The game is a third person action RPG in which players take control of Cloud Strife – an ex member of Shinra’s elite army Soldier – now working as a mercenary for hire who is helping eco-terrorist group Avalanche to take down Shinra’s planet killing Mako reactors. As the first part of a series of games remaking the original, this title is set entirely in the Shinra-run city of Midgar, where Cloud will be able to explore, take on missions, battle enemies, and get to know himself once again by working alongside his childhood friend, Tifa.
